Wholesale National Account Manager
Company: Internationally Leading Food and Beverage Manufacturer
Location: Remote, preferably located in CST
Position Overview: The Wholesale National Account Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the Key Accounts team and driving execution with regional sales managers. This position is responsible for executing strategic growth initiatives to meet volume and profit goals, tracking progress, and managing communication between Key Accounts and field Sales teams. The role involves providing training and support on wholesaler/foodservice organization data and initiatives, coordinating competitive market intelligence, and supporting the Sales forecast process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director, Key Accounts in the Sales forecast process by identifying risks and opportunities with input from the field Sales team
- Monitor and report on the progress of growth initiatives, ensuring consistent communication with both Key Accounts and field Sales teams acting as key point of contact
- Deliver training, support, and communication to field sales and brokers regarding wholesaler organization data and initiatives, pinpointing execution opportunities
- Gather and analyze competitive market intelligence from field Sales teams, customer feedback, and business trends to guide the wholesaler organization team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- At least 6 years of experience within the Food & Beverage sector, preferably Dairy.
- Experience working for a National Foodservice/Wholesaler Organization
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven track record of guiding sales teams to meet goals
- Strong analytical skills with a history of effectively interpreting data and attention to detail
- A collaborative team player and leader capable of working across various functions and disciplines
- Outstanding problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel as required (approximately one week per month)
Compensation: $110,000 - $135,000 Base Salary + Bonus
