Are you an experienced Control Systems Technician looking to take on a challenging role in the Chemical Manufacturing industry? A leading specialty Polymer manufacturer based in Columbia, South Carolina is seeking a seasoned Control Systems Technician with specialized skills and knowledge of DCS and Instrumentation. This position offers the chance to work with a cutting edge chemical manufacturer utilizing advanced chemical manufacturing processes.
The Controls Systems Technician is responsible for overseeing maintenance on controls systems, instruments, and switchgears.
In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Assist engineers with troubleshooting and implementing DCS Systems
- Trouble shoot Allen Bradley PLC/HMI
- Calibrate and install a variety of instruments
- Assist with overall maintenance of the facility
The Electrical should have the following qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Chemical Manufacturing
- Emerson Delta V experience preferred
- Experience working with Flow meters, Temp sensors, and Thermocouples is a plus
