Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all logistics functions, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and sales, to ensure seamless operations.
- Lead a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve operational excellence.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are met and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of logistics processes, including inventory control, transportation, and warehousing.
- Ability to develop and implement process improvements to drive efficiency.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain software is an advantage.
