Our client is a leading company in the Building Materials Industry, known for its commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability. As part of their ongoing efforts to ensure a safe and compliant working environment for all employees, they are seeking a skilled Industrial Hygienist. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CIH-certified professional to join an established team and make a tangible impact on workplace safety.
Qualifications:
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Safety Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as an Industrial Hygienist, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in the building materials industry (construction materials, manufacturing, or similar industries).
- In-depth knowledge of industry-specific health hazards, including respiratory protection, silica exposure, noise, and chemical handling in manufacturing environments.
- Expertise in the use of industrial hygiene monitoring equipment (e.g., personal air samplers, noise dosimeters, dust monitoring systems).
- Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory standards, including OSHA (29 CFR 1910 & 1926), EPA, NIOSH, and other relevant health and safety standards.
- Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex industrial hygiene data and communicate actionable insights.
- Ability to develop, implement, and oversee workplace health programs aimed at improving safety and reducing risks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to train and advise employees, management, and stakeholders on health and safety issues.
