Logistics and Warehouse Director
Introduction:
Our client, a leading building materials company, is looking to hire a Logistics and Warehouse Director. This role is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and is a permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for the logistics and warehouse operations of the company.
Responsibilities:
The Logistics and Warehouse Director will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for the following:
- Overseeing the warehouse and logistics operations of the company
- Managing inventory levels and ensuring that all products are stored in the correct manner
- Coordinating with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure that all deliveries are made on time
- Developing and implementing logistics and supply chain strategies
- Managing the logistics budget and ensuring that all costs are kept under control
- Ensuring that all logistics operations comply with relevant regulations and legislation
