Job Title: Maintenance Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Summary: Ensures that all plant assets including equipment, buildings, structures and systems are maintained efficiently and within budget target
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly supervises and manages maintenance department personnel.
- Investigates, analyze, plans, designs, and directs the execution of a wide variety of maintenance solutions to support safety, quality, and reliability of the facility's equipment.
- Takes a leadership role in safety and continuous improvement.
- Directs maintenance functions to assure the facility's infrastructure and equipment are kept in a safe, reliable condition with minimum unplanned production downtime.
- Defines, promotes and manages lean projects in alignment with Management and facility maintenance targets.
- Develop projects using Lean methodology in order to reduce costs and increase efficiency. Analyze results against plans and propose corrective actions while providing coaching and support to ensure successful implementation.
- Coordinates the inspection, preventive, breakdown and corrective maintenance of all facility mechanical, electrical, manufacturing equipment.
- Ensures all maintenance department personnel adhere to all applicable department and facility safety policies, protocols and procedures. Provides short and long term direction and objectives assigned to maintenance staff.
- Monitors the department employees and ensures competency by initiating training, coaching, counseling or discipline identified in the employee's performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology or Industrial Management preferred
- Required minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing industry. Min. 3 years in maintenance management. Strong project management, technical knowledge in maintenance trades, equipment design and function required. Experience in foam, plastics, food and / or beverage manufacturing industry preferred.
- Must have advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
