We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at our Pueblo, CO facility. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the quality assurance system to ensure customer satisfaction, promote continuous improvement, and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the quality program to meet and exceed customer requirements across all product lines.
- Oversee and direct the integration of a robust Quality Management System (QMS) for the site.
- Serve as the key resource for identifying quality issues, resolving problems, and implementing continuous improvements.
- Participate in design and engineering projects, ensuring customer requirements and quality standards are met.
- Develop and implement procedures for process control, improvement, testing, and inspection.
- Establish and monitor quality metrics to assess system effectiveness and drive decision-making.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve processes and product quality.
- Collaborate with the supply chain to monitor and improve vendor quality performance.
- Review customer quality contracts and ensure compliance with all requirements in quality plans.
- Report quality trends and issues to senior management and leadership teams.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance.
- Promote a Quality Incident Free culture and contribute to improvements in supplier quality and metrology.
- Manage and lead quality control efforts related to change control and process management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related scientific discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance system implementation and management, with at least 10 years in the semiconductor or related industry.
- 5+ years of recent hands-on manufacturing experience.
- Proven ability to lead and direct QA teams, with a minimum of 7 years of progressive management experience.
- Strong knowledge of statistical process control and manufacturing protocols.
- Experience in driving business performance improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to make quick decisions and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a plus.
Salary:
- $120k-150k + Bonus + Benefits
