A leading US Food & Beverage Manufacturer is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join their dedicated and expanding team! The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of projects, on time, within budget and within scope.
The Senior Project Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of projects
- Focused on packaging and process related projects and any other projects as needed.
- Commercialize required packaging and process innovations as well as identify improvement projects.
- Prepares engineering designs and work specifications.
- Provide technical support and direction to the manufacturing plants
- Monitors progress and performance against the project plan.
- Takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
- Identifies, develops, and gathers resources necessary to complete the project.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
- Engineering degree
- 10 years packaging experience, preferably in the beverage industry
- 5 plus years of project management experience
- Advanced knowledge of Hot fill and Aseptic manufacturing
- Solid knowledge of blow molding PET bottles
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Good communication skills, particularly to Senior leadership
- Understand OSHA/FDA/USDA/EPA requirements in manufacturing
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule across all shifts to execute work as needed
- Competency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Outlook, Excel and Word
